Chapter One - “So Get Up”

Chapter One Chapter One of Underground Sound Of Lisbon, which featured the song "So Get Up" (with lyrics and vocals by Greek-American songwriter, Ithaka Darin Pappas). Some time later, the record would reach the hands of the acclaimed New York DJ Júnior Vasquez, being re-released on the international market by the American label Tribal, originating remixes by Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia. In a short space of time, Underground Sound Of Lisbon rose to the top on both sides of the Atlantic. It's a moment of affirmation for the Portuguese scene. There's a roster of renowned DJs (Vibe, Tó Ricciardi, Rui Vargas, Luís Leite, DJ Jiggy, Mário Roque, XL Garcia), there are projects (Urban Dreams, Kult Of Krameria, Paul Jays, Alex Fx, J. Daniel), companies (Kaos, X-Club), there are record labels like Kaos, Warning Inc, Question Of Time or Squeeze, and there are figures like DJ Vibe or Rui da Silva – who would later reach number #1 on the UK charts.

Algum tempo mais tarde, o disco haveria de chegar às mãos do credenciado DJ nova-iorquino Júnior Vasquez, sendo relançado no mercado internacional pela editora americana Tribal, originando remisturas de Vasquez e Danny Tenaglia. Num curto espaço de tempo, os Underground Sound Of Lisbon sobem aos top de dança dos dois lados do Atlântico. É um momento de afirmação do cenário português. Há um naipe de DJ reconhecidos (Vibe, Tó Ricciardi, Rui Vargas, Luís Leite, DJ Jiggy, Mário Roque, XL Garcia), há projectos (Urban Dreams, Kult Of Krameria, Paul Jays, Alex Fx, J.
