"Get Up Go Insane" by Ithaka (produced by Siba Giba)

Ithaka "Get Up I'm Free" a new collaboration between lyricist-vocalist Ithaka (Ithaka Darin Pappas) and French-American production legend, Siba Giba. The tune features elements of Ithaka's iconic 1992 vocal-poem "So Get Up" which Siba has crraftingly incorporated into an epic cinematic hip hop instrumental.

The release is a joint venture between Sweatlodge Records (LA) and Overtime Records (NY), now available on all platforms.

Underground Sound Of Lisbon ft. Ithaka – So Get Up (1994)

So Get Up supuso el ir más allá de lo que era habitual, es decir, rock y fado. Fue publicado en 1994 como cara B de Chapter One y parte de la letra dice: “The end of the world is upon us, pretty soon it will all turn to dust”, un trabajo de Ithaka (ou Ithaka Darin Pappas), un artista griego-Californiano. La versión USL de la canción es en realidad un remix de la versión original de 1992 de Ithaka (quien también es el vocalista del remix de 1994).

So Get Up de USL ft. Ithaka conquistó el mundo cuando el sello Tribal America se lo dio a Junior Vazquez y Danny Tenaglia.

‘Touch Me ft. Cassandra Fox broke the Pop Format

Prior to ‘Touch Me’, Da Silva had already experienced success in the dance-music arena via his partnership with DJ Vibe as Underground Sound of Lisbon.

The pair’s ‘So Get Up’, a 1994 remix of Ithaka's 1992 iconic vocal-poem song (also entitled "So Get Up").

defined by its bottom-end and oft-sampled series of Ithaka's shouted commands “Get up! Forget the past!” was one of the best. The track became an international club smash that hit particularly hard in NYC, where it became something of an unofficial mid-’90s theme song for Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia.
